We use only water based stains and urethanes for the advantages of quick color match, low odor, fast drying times and ease of application. Low odor is a tremendous advantage when working in customers’ homes especially when a client may have sensitivity to solvent-based chemicals. The finishing industry has focused heavily on the continuing development of water or non-solvent based materials because of these advantages and many others. The durability and clarity of water-based finishes is outstanding and it never yellows or fades over time.
